LSUK doubles its diesel capability by investing in new test bench

LSUK doubles its diesel capability by investing in new test bench
LSUK, the parts and technical expertise supplier, has reacted to the continued boom in the diesel market by investing almost £70,000 in a new diesel test bench and expanding its diesel workshop space at Hastings. Adding a second Bosch 815 bench and significantly increasing the workspace has doubled the capability of the LSUK branch network's central diesel hub and will help staff to cope with the increasing demand when it comes to testing and repairing common rail and VP pumps.

"I have been with the company for 35 years and I have to say this is the biggest investment that I've ever seen," said branch manager, Colin Coulman. "I have to take my hat off to the company because this kind of investment shows that it is serious about the future and wanting to position us at the forefront of the diesel market."

Coulman and his service manager, Mick Farman, anticipate the new test bench will enable them to offer an even better service to both the LSUK branch network and external customers and meet their diesel needs quicker.

Farman said: "With two Bosch benches, we can now use one solely for common rail injectors and the other solely for common rail pumps. That will enable us to work in batches and therefore offer an even more competitive service to all of our customers."
